Altadena Library District
Education/Career
The Altadena Library District is an independent special district that serves the residents of Altadena through a Main Library (located at 600 E. Mariposa St.) and the Bob Lucas Memorial Library & Literacy Center (located at 2659 Lincoln Avenue). The library offers services like homebound delivery and extended access as well as many programs, including summer reading, book clubs, poetry events, author talks, concerts, crafts, storytimes, and performers. The library also provides electronic and streaming resources, Wi-Fi, a literacy center, a makerspace, a community room, library materials vending machines, and two mobile units. A key partner of local businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations, the Altadena Library is focused on making our community a place where all are learning, growing, and thriving together.
The Curiosity Connection (mobile library) will be present for PUSD Science Fest! Altadena Library District will have resources to pass out, upcoming library program flyers, an opportunity to sign up for library cards, and two activities for k-12 youth: button making and 3d doodler pen activities.
