Center for Independent Study (CIS Academy)

Scott Phelps is a mentor teacher at CIS. CIS is PUSD's independent study school.

CIS Academy is a voluntary enrollment school for students who want to graduate

early, need flexible scheduling to accommodate a work schedule for family

obligations, such as child care and the medically fragile. The goal of CIS

Academy is to offer an individualized learning plan which guides the teacher and

the student to meet graduation requirements, explore careers and prepare for

post-secondary education.

Scott will be hosting information about the independent study program at PUSD CIS.
