Nicholas Gessler, Ph.D. Anthropology, Duke University (retired), Advisor to the UCLA Meteorite Gallery and the Purple Mountain Meteorite Museum in Nanjing, and finder of hundreds of meteorites in Californa and Nevada will share samples and knowledge about meteorites.

Hands-on examination of the different classes of meteorites and how to identify them. Current research on the world's 9th largest meteorite from Somalia, which is also the world's most significant meteorite mined for metal in prehistoric times.
