PCC Bee Club

Environment

This club is all about Apis mellifera, the western honey bee. We will explore the many aspects of this remarkable and necessary species. The synergy between us and the bees (and how we cannot live without them) will help us explore what it means to manage bees. And yes, we have our own bees to manage! How exciting is that?! Charlene Potter is a tenured professor of linguistics at PCC, a California Master Beekeeper, and the faculty advisor for the PCC Beekeeping Club.

The PCC Bee Club is hosting education and information about Apis mellifera, the Western Honey Bee, as well as beekeeping information.
