PUSD Health Programs-CalFresh Healthy Living Program

We are PUSD Health Programs and offer an array of programs to support our students and families with different educational programs to address health concerns within our community. The CalFresh Healthy Living Program addresses food insecurities, offers opportunities to access fresh produce, and learn about nutrition and physical activity and how to make small changes without cutting out their favorite meals.

Using as many school garden grown produce to make a healthy snacks combining ingredients to make it flavorful, and healthy beverages to encourage healthy students and families to make small healthy changes and choices when selecting meals to eat. Our program encourages, culinary interest, policy change, gardening and agriculture, etc.
