NOTICE
The recent Southern California Wildfires, mostly the Eaton fire but also the Palisades fire, have significantly impacted the entire PUSD community. Students, their families and PUSD staff have been displaced, many have lost their homes, schools have been significantly affected. More than 10,000 of the over 14,000 PUSD students were evacuated from their homes. PUSD staff, including those displaced, are working frantically to care for students and restore learning by all students by relocating students from damaged schools, cleaning buildings and providing immediate support.

The PUSD staff must be commended for tackling such a difficult, complicated problem for the entire PUSD community.

Many of the invited groups to ScienceFest are based in and around the Altadena area and members of those groups are also impacted.

Given the turmoil that we are in and the prioritization of efforts to navigate through it, we have decided to postpone the 2025 ScienceFest previously scheduled for March 15.
